Dehumidifiers and air dryers are air conditioning devices that operate with different technologies, but their sole purpose is to reduce the humidity in the air.
A dehumidifier removes moisture from a room by drawing air in from one end of the room and then blowing it back into the room after removing the moisture. Use an air dryer for faster evaporation while also removing moisture from an area.
Moisture in the air is quantified as a percentage of relative humidity. This is expressed as a percentage of the total air volume.

1. The OCD compact dryers can be equipped with up to four fully insulated drying bins to suit the required total throughput.
2. OCD compact dryers are the most effective way of conditioning hygroscopic plastic granules for processing and removing surface moisture.
3. The use of corrosion resistant stainless steel ensures a long lifetime and avoids contamination of the plastic granules.
4. Transparent window design for filter makes it convenient to monitor the condition of filter.
5. Material-contact surface of hopper is specially made of dust-free mirror-like stainless steel, it is suitable for the production of optical lens or food standard plastic products production.

ORSTE “Optical” Dehumidifying Dryers provides the advantages of a consistent dew point and maximum energy efficiency. They combine the function of dehumidifying, drying and two-stage conveying into one compact machine, specified for the production of “optical class” and “food standard” products, such as lens, LGP, disposable lunch box etc. The quality desiccant honeycomb rotor provides continuous and constant low dew-point air which can be lower than -40 oC under ideal conditions.

The above part is a cyclone dust collector, it is an important part for the machine if there is much dust in the plastic materials. It can remove most of the dust like substance in the plastic and greatly improve the service lifespan of the machine.
The main reason for the defects of plastic products, such as bubbles, silver lines, flaws, poor transparency, etc. is that plastic raw materials are not completely dried before molding. Hygroscopic plastics, such as TPU, PA, PC, PBT, PET, PETG, PCTG, NYLON and so on, can not be thoroughly dried through traditional methods. It is proved that heated and dehumidified air with low dew-point down to -40oC can make moisture content of such materials lower than 0.02% before molding.
OCD-H honeycomb dehumidifiers, utilizing honeycomb-rotor in a full-closed system to dehumidify process air, can meet such requirements. Hot air with low dew-point produced by this unit is quickly and continuously blowed to plastic particles to completely absorb the moisture, thus to gain a good drying and dehumidifying effect.
For models below OCD-160/120H, cyclone dust separators are standardly equipped for removing the dust from the material, in this way, the filters are not easy to be blocked, the blower of the machine can work longer than normal ones. The final product can be better also.
The bottom of the hopper dryer is equipped with a material discharge plate, it is convenient for cleaning the hopper when changing different kinds of plastic materials.
All the electrical parts are located in the electrical cabinets and are all well protected from possible damage by hit and keep danger aways from operators. The electrical cabinet is locked when the machine is running, only the appointed personnel is alowed to open the electrical cabinet for maintenance or repair. Safety comes first when operating the machine.
