Product Features of Plastic Pellet Hopper Dryer

  • The OCD compact dryers can be equipped with up to four fully insulated drying bins to suit the required total throughput.
  • OCD compact dryers are the most effective way of conditioning hygroscopic plastic granules for processing and removing surface moisture.
  • The use of corrosion resistant stainless steel ensures a long lifetime and avoids contamination of the plastic granules.
  • Transparent window design for filter makes it convenient to monitor the condition of filter.
  • Material-contact surface of hopper is specially made of dust-free mirror-like stainless steel, it is suitable for the production of optical lens or food standard plastic products production.

Application of Plastic Pellet Hopper Dryer

ORSTE “Optical” Dehumidifying Dryers provides the advantages of a consistent dew point and maximum energy efficiency. They combine the function of dehumidifying, drying and two-stage conveying into one compact machine, specified for the production of “optical class” and “food standard” products, such as lens, LGP, disposable lunch box etc. The quality desiccant honeycomb rotor provides continuous and constant low dew-point air which can be lower than -40 oC under ideal conditions.

Application Cases of Plastic Pellet Hopper Dryer

Cooler Cleaning

Clean the cooler and eliminate the leakage regularly.

1) Please do the above-mentioned job once a month for cooling by chilled water.

2) As for the cooling by normal water, do the same job once a quarter.

3) As for cooling by air, do the same job once a year.

Cooler clear steps:

1) Disassemble the cooler's pipe and screw, and remove the cooler out of the chiller.

2) Release the fixed screw on the upper and lower cover of cooler and disassemble the cover.

3) Use brushes, compressed air or low pressure water to clean the dust and sundries on the cooler fan and copper pipe.

Notes: water residue on the cooler fan and copper pipe should be dried with compressed air.

4) Make the cooler's upper and lower cover junction clean enough and smear the silica gel then fixed the covers with screws.

5) Put the cooler on the air at least 4 hours to make the silica gel drying enough then fix the cooler on the chiller and connect all pipes.
